i'm doin this with half my brain in lala land.. so tired..
after spendin close to 24 hours with jon, it's a wonder i alive haha.. to be exact, we spend 20 hrs together (not very exact cause SOMEONE was late)..

we had dinner @ funan's food junction b4 findin aes ppl :) but jon wanted to go guardian so badly cause both of us no toothbrush so he bought 3 (for $3)..
went to catch the fireworks festival (last day).. the place was like flooded with ppl and the worse thing was the journey towards the center of the bridge was a 'grabbing situation' (let's call it that).. but in the end, we managed to see the fireworks in the best spot :)

what really pissed us was that frm just a little situation, we can tell that majority of singaporeans are not gracious at all.. well @ least towards ppl they don't noe.. a simple task of havin 2 simple rows so that there will be easy movin 'traffic' (if u can call it that) cannot even be done.. such a shame :(
after fireworks, we went to raffles to wait for the crowd to move first (jon objected alot).. we finally left city hall bout 1015pm towards NUS..

took mrt to clementi then took bus 96 to NUS.. the campus's size gave us so much difficulty just to find MPSH1 but still we did it.. we were 'a little late' but we found 2 other millennians & we got info frm them..

the stayover was kinda horrible (therefore i'm tired now).. the place was so cold, the mat was hard, and i (mayb jon also) couldn't sleep.. jon gave a very good suggestion sayin that i can only sleep if i hug hum.. hahahaahha..
in the end i went out of the freezer and slept for bout an hour b4 we had to get up to get ready to set off for east coast..

we brushed our teeth (jon's toothbrushes to the rescue haha) and then set off..
upon reachin, we had the stupid job of pushin out the 'water barricades' (not sure if it's the correct term anyway..) from the kerbs of the roads to close off the roads then, the triathlon started..
me and jon managed to sneak to macs to eat and we also managed to catch a little sleep haha (that's not slackin)..

there came this participant that shouted :'Volunteers do your job!' while he cycled pass.. i'm guessin he was misdirected by other helpers and got pissed (kinda stupid since we helpers, organizers etc are already so busy)..
durin the triathlon, we tried our best to pounce on any chance to become the run marshalls but luck wasn't on our side (made a bad choice by not switchin duties in the first place :().. after all cyclists were all done, we had to clear up the 'water barricades' back to the side of the road, while we were doin that, once again i noticed how impatient singaporeans can get.. a driver stuck his head and, if i caught it right, said: 'You guys are makin a nuisence of yourselves'.. what is wrong with that guy ?? such a uncivillised remark, just because he was in a hurry and that he was drivin a mercedes (if i rmb correctly).. haiz.. s;poreans=majority ugly in attitude.. here we are tryin to clear the road for conventional traffic again and just a stupid guy have to come up and ruin the day for us.. thank god no one heard him, since he wanted to direct the message to me so that i'll 'pass it on'.. such a classic case of what i call 'LOSERS'..

anyway, drifted to much haha, rain came and we stodd in the rain for sometime b4 we were moved back to carpark E2 where we had our pathetic lunch (it was expected anyway) and we took our goodie bags and left.. what a day man..

the day has not yet ended, jon told me that bus service no. 10 would go to a place near clementi (frm east coast) so that i can go home.. but it didn't !!! haha.. i ended up in some place and was so damn confused.. but i managed to find a service that goes to np so that i could go home frm there.. (smart me :)) i also embarrassed myself tryin to flag for a bus that was only droppin of passengers b4 goin to it's parkin slot @ the parkin bay.. so embarrassin.. haha..

this whole time with jon was really fun and at the same time i learnt many things:
(1) Singaporeans are in the majority, people who are impatient, rude, selfish and ungracious.. but that's only mayb an ugly fraction of maybe 3/5.. there are still nice people in s'pore :)
(2) jon is rich
(3) jon and me are overweight
(4) me and jon are pregnant
(5) this is tiring..
