never went to school for normal lessons today because the year 1 were under a 'load test'.. the whole idea was to see if the system could handle large masses of people loggin in in case of emergencies etc.. we were suppose to do the subjects that teachers have placed in MI link however there was some problems such as loading errors.. and another problem was that there were too much work given to the stdents.. too much dumping.. i only managed to complete the Gp assignment, half of management, half of econs and also a little maths.. anyway the idea was great it's just that we would rather be in school.. haha..
had rehearsal again today.. we were the only group to practice today together with shannaz's band.. at last there is creditable results with the much needed help from our lead female singer aziziah. thank god she came back on time.. haha.. so now we have a more or less ready to go performance so hopefully we'll do well tomorrow.. i'm also afraid of my own singing tomorrow.. hopefully can hit the notes.. :D
after rehearsals yuru, regina, hajar, cheryl, and lynn went to my house to design the shirts.. while me, rachel, carolyn and huimin went with puvana to see the cloth issue.. the other group, found masks as well that suited the theme so yippie :D the others juat left my house but rachel left her lappy at my house (laptop).. hmm i'm suppose to look after it and hug it to sleep rite ? haha..

had another tiring day because of the stupid rehearsals again..once again getting people was a problem but whoever does not come tomorrow will not participate so ignore them.. it's such a people issue.. anyway, the singing was so much better then yesterday.. but my singing was horrible.. i sounded like a spoilt recorder because i always end up raising my voice to gather people and all the 'loud voice needed' stuff.. i'm not doing it again :0 thank god.. the attire is also another issue.. should we use cloth, what are we going to wear !?!? so painful to think but we have to anyway haha.. thanks to all that put in the effort today : Rachel, Vitz, hajar, yuru, regina, gabriel, junchen, carolyn, calvin, menghong, izzah, hanistar, hanisah, hidayah, arfie, chalin, tianshui, hafiz, suhaila, yueling, sheila.. thanks to all these people.. but i really hope in the end we all learnt something out of this project..
mrs mayer was not seen until late in the day.. must be because of the absense of john.. even the pigeons never came until she came..the lime grw only when she came.. haha.. she brings joy she never knew existed.. she's so amusing to look at..haahaha.. always cause us to laugh at whatever she is doing.. hopefully she will be going over to the new building with the school then we can get to know more of her super powers..haha..

had teachers' day rehearsal today.. it was horrible.. getting people to stay for the rehearsal was such a problem! aziziah was not around and there are people who were suppose to come but never turned up.. damn it!
in the end some kind souls managed to practice together as a class and when we on stage it was horrible.. haha.. not that the singing was so awful (but it wasn't exactly wonderful) but it was a simple lack of practice and co-ordination.. i am not the bloody conductor but ended up standing with my ass to the people and acting like a conducter.. haha.. how embarassing..
now i have to pull everyone to go for rahearsals tomorrow and print lyrics for the whole class and so many other things..
mr pillai asked rachel and me if we wanted to join the student council today.. we obviously rejected him because seriously, it will affect my studies.. all my assumption experience is enough already haha.. so ya.. it will look good on testimonial but NAH... not for me anymore :)
it's been some time since i stayed at home the entire day and today is the day :) woke up at almost 2pm so half the day flew by..haha
anyway, studied econs, did mgt tutorial8 and tried my best to do gp (but was lazy) haha..
joe called telling me about the eco challange.. his group got 8th..haha it's already creditable to finish the race.. he also mentioned that a vjc team got 1st..cool..
just came home from a day at the zoo & night safari :)such a fun day..
got into the zoo for free because caryn was a conservation ambassordor for the zoo so i sneaked in as well.. haha.. with the power of a sticker, i was entittled to free rides (i didn't took any though) and admission into the zoo.. the place have since changed from the last time i went back in 2003, the place (zoo) is nicer now..
i had fun walking around and seeing all the 'little animals'haha.. bumped into my cousin and his family..
after the zoo, we had ice cream from ben & jerry's.. yummy stuff.. we had fpish food, berry berry extraordinary and black berry flavours all for only $5.60.. haha we had a discount (power of the sticker)..
then we went night safari :) my first time into that place.. paid god damn $28 just to get in.. so expensive.. and anyway, we took trams and saw animals.. there was this section where the deers were so super near.. and also a section where the tapirs were within slapping distance..haha.. some snimals are so cute at night.. the suspense bridge in the night safari was such a dissapointment..it was only a short shaky bridge with no sight of a single animal.. lousy.. anyway, the animal show was nice.. we sat first row which was very very near the animals and that was so cool :)but we also had this little fear that the animals might go out of control and jump on us or something..haha WILD thoughts..
the only problem about the night safari is that we couldn't take photos as flash photography was not allowed.. i still managed to snap some shots though.. the place was dark but still most animals were visible.. we saw giant anteaters(there big!), bintorongs, otters(cute), owls, babirusa(poor animals)etc.. the babirusa are such poor creatures (at least the males are).. their tusks grows in such a way such that it curls towards their skull and brains.. when it gets too long, it pierces their skull and into their brain before they die.. so sad..
they do pro-long their lives by filing their tasks once in a while

we had inter-house netball today.. once again zircon ends up in the 3rd place position.. is this some kind of dejavu? haha.. anyway, the game was fun and all.. but come to think of it, sapphire is actually good with sports.. it's just that they don't really participate in the games they don't really like.. but when zircon was playing against zircon, some of the sapphire people shouted vulgarities to our team and the empire was openly giving them tips (she was like shouting to them the moves etc.) she was suppose to 'be on duty'..
my mum reformatted the com today and all my songs, emotion icons are gone..gamne it ! why she had to do it.. :(
today in class we had this 'vote for your teachers so they can recieve awards on teachers' day thing' (that's a mouthful haha).. we voted for the teachers we knew and ya.. had a class briefing to inform the class what we were going to do on teachers' day itself.. but it really sucks when not everyone wants to co-operate and give support.. i already had so much problems just trying to get people to go for raharsals and all my efforts seems to go to waste week after week.. I gave the class a choice if they wanted to participate in the singing and no hands were raised (except stephan and allisa).. so i'm really hoping and wishing (and trying my very best) to make this project a good one for the class.. haiz.. it really hurts specially when some people come up giving casual remarks and then become very insensitive about it.. if they really don't want to be invovled, no one's forcing.. arhh.. my blood just seems to start to boil just penning all this down.. i should just stop here..

the school also had some origami crane folding thingy.. our class was folding those cranes non-stop since IRP..at the end of 1st break (that's about 12noon) we had roughly 80+ cranes.. great job haha:) we're going to continue tomorrow in school and help break record for the school.. haha
scoccer girls got 3rd and the scoccer guys got last (if i remembered correctly) haha..poor thing.. there's netball and basketball tomorrow..hopefully there'll be triump..haha.. cause the year 2s were practicing netball just now.. so funny..
My youngest sister (thea) went to the zoo today with her classmates.. they had this animal tour around the zoo and while i'm doing this now, she's telling my other sisters and mum what A WONDERFUL TIME SHE HAD.. whatever.. i want to go zoo soon also.. the last time i went was back in secondary 2..haha..
i learnt today that giant otters (the animal) can live for 21 years in captivity whereas the wild ones can only live till 12 years.. i wonder why? (information from wikipedia)

went to bartley yesterday..the place was not as bad as i thought but the building could seriously be improved..the place is homely though..the canteen had sweets for sales!what up with that..we went for some game called 'your choice' (or something like that anyway), we were suppose to make life choices through the game and guess what? my group got 2nd! haha.. half the time i didn't understood the game and yet we got 2nd haha.. our grouped rented a 2 room hdb flat and didn't buy any car.. i was the presentor so i know what everything was in the end..
back in tohtuck, zircon won the hockey inter-house! at last we win something..haha..

Went to some Chinese sinseh today to check my leg problem.. He did some magical massage at my ankle and viola the pain is gone :) he pressed on some parts of my leg that was kind of painful but bearable.. BUT there was a section where his hand was on my *beep* hahaha.. felt so wrong..but anyway the pain's gone for now.. hopefully it recovered already.. he said that my leg is out of shape because i'm too rough, well i guess so but as long as i can still move about, it's fine..
there's inter-house scoccer tommorow.. I wonder which house will emerge victorious (hoping deep inside that zircon will miraculously win).. i think i'm suppose to go to the bartley campus tommorow for some business game it sounded like monopoly to me but we'll see how tommorow..

it's official, i have a knee injury! I felt the pain about 3 weeks ago during NAPFA test whilst doing sit-and-reach (pathetic 41cm by the way).. but it wasn't until last week that i really sense a sharp pain everytime i bend my leg.. i'm pregnant! haha.. I'm going to see a doctor tomorow so no worries i guess :X..caught a flu sometime after Management lesson today also & that really made me drowsy..
wanted to go for training today but instead when i reached Gombak, all i did was sit at the grandstand and do accounts tutorial 7 while the others trained.. poor me..haha when i wanted to buy a pen (something i should have done very long ago) i roamed the area of Bukit Gombak and i couldn't find a single shop that sold pens!! maybe i overlooked some shops but seriously i only managed to get pens in a little shop at the MRT station.. haha what an adventure..in the end i left gombak with cheryl cause she had to leave early anyway.. (she has test tomorow-all the best :))..

went for newbalance realrun this mornin @ sentosa.. so many people.. anyway, this is my very first 'official 10km' run and i'm super satisfied with the run.. i didn't stop at all :) so happy for myself hahaha.. now let's wait for the results (if it's ever goin to be known).. but for now.. i think i did roughly bout 50-51 mins :) it's less then an hour yippie :D i thought i would complete the run in an hour and half but it turns out i finished it in less then an hour :)
after the run collected goodie bag (for kubo also-fever couldn't run :() the shirt is kinda nice.. then me, felicia, yixun waited for the lucky draw and at the same time rested ourselves first..haha..
the lucky draw was so funny.. the winner had to be present but many people left already and when reached the first prize, many numbers were skipped cause the 'winners' were not there..ahahah..
my mp3 got a little wet with my sweat and the thing kept slippin down into my shorts while i was running... so distracting..haha but still..

just got home from assumption's alumni dinner.. it was great.. many many many generations of assumptionites were at the vincent hall.. the food was so-so but the idea of a big get-together was great :)

we had inter-house volleyball, inter-house tennis today.. wierd arrangement..after volleyball i played tennis :) i played against k7 for tennis..he won the first set, i won the second, but he still won the 3rd set.. haha but it was fun :)
volleyball was great also.. our house were against 1 of onyx's team.. then we proceeded to the finals (i think it was the finals= 3rd 4th placin) against another onyx team.. very fun.. zircon is always 3rd for eveything.. next week we'll be havin netball.. mayb we can win that.. one of the onyx team won in the finals against also a very good garnet team.. great game :)
i cooked maggimee and bought to sch today..haha.. but had some difficulty eatin it cause durin our break there was a lesson in our classroom (there isn't suppose to be any!).. anyway, we got back 2 latest accounts test..i failed terribly for the first but got 'A' for the 2nd test :D..

Stupid 2.4 !! i wanted to get a timin below 830 today but ended up stoppin after 1.8km cause it was already 6.30mins..it was not on a correct pace.. even if i made it back in 2 mins (for the next 2 rounds), which is highly unlikely, i'll not hit the timin.. so irritating.. i took 1.50min for the first 2 rounds (roughly in time), 4.04min for the first half (still within reach).. i guess i have to run again next week :( (it feels saddening when you just don't hit your targets).. but nevertheless i'm running 21.1km in december :D kinda excited never ran that long b4.. haha :)
tomorow's inter-house volleyball.. haha a time for zircon to redeem sometings at last.. so mayb tomorow's practice for teachers' day might be cancelled (i'm hopin it does)..

during gp today mdm shamala showed a softer side of herself.. we were on the issue of the incident when a rjc student took a video of his teacher scoldin his classmate in school.. we went on bout all the funny things and even asked if we were the student, could we sue the teacher if she scolded us in words like 'sly, crafty old rat'.. haha.. then we reached the topic of other jcs lookin down on MI.. but mdm shamala told us that they can be snobbish all they want cause at the end of the day, it's the ones that do well individually gets a place somewhere.. o well i guess she was tryin to motivate us.. she was from AJC and she failed her econs back then.. she retook the 'A' levels as a private candidate again and made it to NUS.. i'm feelin a sense of achievement for her (don't noe why haha)..
we had chinese oral today :) the passage was horribly wrong (as always) but the conversation segment was kinda great.. i felt that i did great.. the teacher asked me bout charity shows etc & asked me if i thought that the use of dangling prizes for doners was a good thing.. i said(in chinese duh) 'no it's not cause if there's money for prizes, why not just give it to the charity organization.. we blabber on and we ended up in topics like how i felt bout old folks in the elderly homes etc and ended talkin bout my child hood days.. haha it's a wonder how things really drift in conversations.. (is that good for oral ?)..
hidayah thinks i'm a perfectionist cause i helped her close her bag though it was just a little dist that we're movin from the bag..everytime after bloggin i end up readin my blog and end up correcting the little spellin mistakes.. mayb i'm gettin a little pregnant hahahaha..

lynn & stephan (aka stephanie) had a little 'debate' over holes on the human body.. stephan said that guys have 2 holes and girls have 3 but 1 of which is useless.. he also disguested lynn by askin her to see his *some text missing* ya... (jokin jokin:)).. the holes part was confusing but anyway i leant why guys have nipples already.. It is because, before a child developes into a gender, the nipples are already a developed part of the foetus, therefore it is inevitable not to have nipples unless there's some sort of medical case.. (we learnt something new everyday :))
there was this 'Join the student council/faculty leaders now' kinda talk.. and also the Student Leadership Experience talk.. it's actually an annual camp conducted every yr and we're suppose to get nominated for the camp.. blah blah.. i tink the camp sounds fun (i wanna go :)) haha.. but it depends if can go cambodia.. after spendin close to 24 hours with jon, it's a wonder i alive haha.. to be exact, we spend 20 hrs together (not very exact cause SOMEONE was late)..
we had dinner @ funan's food junction b4 findin aes ppl :) but jon wanted to go guardian so badly cause both of us no toothbrush so he bought 3 (for $3)..
went to catch the fireworks festival (last day).. the place was like flooded with ppl and the worse thing was the journey towards the center of the bridge was a 'grabbing situation' (let's call it that).. but in the end, we managed to see the fireworks in the best spot :)
what really pissed us was that frm just a little situation, we can tell that majority of singaporeans are not gracious at all.. well @ least towards ppl they don't noe.. a simple task of havin 2 simple rows so that there will be easy movin 'traffic' (if u can call it that) cannot even be done.. such a shame :(
after fireworks, we went to raffles to wait for the crowd to move first (jon objected alot).. we finally left city hall bout 1015pm towards NUS..
took mrt to clementi then took bus 96 to NUS.. the campus's size gave us so much difficulty just to find MPSH1 but still we did it.. we were 'a little late' but we found 2 other millennians & we got info frm them..
the stayover was kinda horrible (therefore i'm tired now).. the place was so cold, the mat was hard, and i (mayb jon also) couldn't sleep.. jon gave a very good suggestion sayin that i can only sleep if i hug hum.. hahahaahha..
in the end i went out of the freezer and slept for bout an hour b4 we had to get up to get ready to set off for east coast..
we brushed our teeth (jon's toothbrushes to the rescue haha) and then set off..
upon reachin, we had the stupid job of pushin out the 'water barricades' (not sure if it's the correct term anyway..) from the kerbs of the roads to close off the roads then, the triathlon started..
me and jon managed to sneak to macs to eat and we also managed to catch a little sleep haha (that's not slackin)..
there came this participant that shouted :'Volunteers do your job!' while he cycled pass.. i'm guessin he was misdirected by other helpers and got pissed (kinda stupid since we helpers, organizers etc are already so busy)..
durin the triathlon, we tried our best to pounce on any chance to become the run marshalls but luck wasn't on our side (made a bad choice by not switchin duties in the first place :().. after all cyclists were all done, we had to clear up the 'water barricades' back to the side of the road, while we were doin that, once again i noticed how impatient singaporeans can get.. a driver stuck his head and, if i caught it right, said: 'You guys are makin a nuisence of yourselves'.. what is wrong with that guy ?? such a uncivillised remark, just because he was in a hurry and that he was drivin a mercedes (if i rmb correctly).. haiz.. s;poreans=majority ugly in attitude.. here we are tryin to clear the road for conventional traffic again and just a stupid guy have to come up and ruin the day for us.. thank god no one heard him, since he wanted to direct the message to me so that i'll 'pass it on'.. such a classic case of what i call 'LOSERS'..
anyway, drifted to much haha, rain came and we stodd in the rain for sometime b4 we were moved back to carpark E2 where we had our pathetic lunch (it was expected anyway) and we took our goodie bags and left.. what a day man..
the day has not yet ended, jon told me that bus service no. 10 would go to a place near clementi (frm east coast) so that i can go home.. but it didn't !!! haha.. i ended up in some place and was so damn confused.. but i managed to find a service that goes to np so that i could go home frm there.. (smart me :)) i also embarrassed myself tryin to flag for a bus that was only droppin of passengers b4 goin to it's parkin slot @ the parkin bay.. so embarrassin.. haha..
this whole time with jon was really fun and at the same time i learnt many things:
(1) Singaporeans are in the majority, people who are impatient, rude, selfish and ungracious.. but that's only mayb an ugly fraction of maybe 3/5.. there are still nice people in s'pore :)

what an embarassin day.. the auditions was so embarassin.. we stood up there like some 'nothing-better-to-do' ppl and sang A WHOLE NEW WORLD, the aladdin song.. and half way through, aziziah forgot her lines haha.. but i guess the duet was great (thanks azi :)).. anyway i tink we have made it to the finals since jaq gave us '90% can' reply :D the audition made me lose focus in school the whole day, i seriously have to keep out (thank god it's over)
trainin was fun once again & this time i farted while runnin.. mel laughed while striding makin me laugh b4 it 'infected' shali & jon hahaha.. oppssie, i had a poopsie.. and it ruin that 100m haha..
cheryl got pregnant again today (vomitted), jon also but somehow his baby didn't come out, shali felt pregnant but that was after all the trainin.. we played javalin (is that how u spell it?), so fun but so difficult, that stick thing doesn't seem to fly up like pros do.. someday we should play again :)
spent the holiday wakin up early just to help out in the preparations for the NUS Triathlon this weekend (all bcause of shali, haha )..
when with my new 'bf' jonathan (i'm sure u're readin this haha).. anyway, it was tirin but still quite fun..
suppose to go EAST COAST, we ended up goin for a tour round s'pore frm the Triathlon Association(east area) to bukit timah then to clementi b4 realisin that we're headin to east coast.. haha..
advertisement: coconut drink frm the stall nearest to the entrence @ east coast food centre is DELICIOUS.. try it (it's good for health) haha..
saw moths matin, they mate so slowly & i was wonderin why but jon keeps sayin they're not doin anythin.. (he acts innocent) haha..

the ppl frm NUS are great also, they work well & they really persevere though most of 'em are really tired(go guys !)

there's auditions tomorow & i have'nt practice, i'm so dead..
National Day, went for auditions (987fm thingy), the rocordin was seriously fun :) i met ppl like Mark Richmond, Shan Wee, Junstin.A & Don (frm Don & Drew Show)who was 'in-charge' of me.. hopefully i'll make it through :)
went to newton circus for lunch with Caryn we had loads & after that, we walked to orchard & caught the movie CLICK.. it's such a hilarious movie until the end when it got kinda sad & touchy.. seriously, havin a remote to control your life is not all that fun because sometime things have to happen on their own :THERE IS NEVER A SHORTCUT IN LIFE, IF THERE IS, YOU MUST HAVE MISSED SOMETHING
got a stupid call frm my mum with nonsense that i'm too pissed to put down but whatever, being angry ruins your life haha.. talk bout being optimistic..
tomorow still have to wake up early & make it to Kovan mrt by 845am.. damn preparations for the nus triathlon (all the best shali :))

what a lame way to celebrate national day, we watched borin marchin followed by this wierd 'movie-documentary' that had a lady stayin still for 4.33 mins, and then a 'qn & answer session' follwed by 'sing-a-long'..
trainin @ sentosa for realrun was not very fun, (jon got pissed haha :D) but it was allright just that it kinda strained my ankle & knee..
we saw many peacocks & peahens
dinner @ macs lido with pae classmates.. it's been some time and i kinda missed them..haha
anyhow, auditions tomorow must prepare :)
i'm feelin like an idiot tryin to get this blog proper & i suppose now Caryn's laughin @ me now..but this skin is kinda cool-money is the new 'in' thing.. haha.. with a full day of sch & training (2.4 inclusive !) duh i'm tired..
i learnt a new game today, it's called MAFIA (or that's what we call it), mafia kills citizens, doctor trys his/her best, spy tries to find the killer when all heads are down.. funny game :D alfred's teachins haha time for bed *yawn
